“With Climb Kili you’re not just climbing with a company, you’re climbing with a community”

Climb Kili and its clients continue our involvement with many orphanages and child initiatives located throughout Tanzania. Through combined efforts and constant commitment to provide a quality of life and learning for these children, we continue to see a noticeable change in the lives of these children and all who are privileged to serve. If you would like to spend time in the service of these programs, we will arrange an addition to your trip for an opportunity to volunteer. Some of our current efforts include:
Climb Kili proudly supports several Water for Life programs with Hippo Roller & Life Straw to not only provide efficient water transfer, but safe drinkable water as well.

Climb Kili’s Providing Opportunity & Resources Through Education Reimbursement(P.O.R.T.E.R) program reimburses any of our Tanzanian employees Shilling for Shilling for the three main Colleges in Moshi, and four main Colleges in Arusha. By providing the education and skill sets of our Porters, Guides and office staff, their future is ensured on and off the mountain. By furthering the education of our staff, we continually provide leaders in the community. This helps our staff to positively affect our community, themselves and our clients from around the world we share the mountain with.
Climb Kili’s ReForest Program
Since the Kilimanjaro National Park Service restricted burning trees for Kilimanjaro expeditions in 1999, Climb Kili has dedicated to plant one tree on behalf of each of our clients. By continuing to replace what has been used, we hope in some small way to help restore the forested landscape that earlier trekkers enjoyed.
